1. Purpose and Scope
These Terms apply when the exact owner of a Qannects Workspace purchases a Qannects Donation hardware kit for that Workspace through Workspace Web.
Donation hardware is a private Workspace product within Qannects Donation services. It is not a public Store listing, a donor purchase, a Donation to the Workspace, or a payment made through the Workspace's connected Donation account.
These Terms work with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Workspace and Admin Terms, Donations and Payments Terms, Managed Donation Device Terms, the applicable product offering, and payment-provider terms. If an order-specific record gives the buyer an additional right, that additional right also applies to that order.
2. Owner Authority and Electronic Acceptance
Only the exact Workspace owner may place a hardware order. By accepting these Terms, the owner represents that they are authorized to bind the Workspace and provide its shipping, payment, tax, and operational information.
Qannects records the accepting Principal, Workspace, policy bundle, version, time, surface, and order reference. Each order preserves the acceptance identifier and version that applied when checkout began.
A current Workspace-scoped acceptance may be reused for later orders under the same version. A material update may require the owner to accept a new version before another purchase; it will not retroactively reduce warranty coverage already attached to delivered hardware.
3. Offering, Order, and Contract Formation
The applicable offering identifies the kit, operating mode, included components, quantity, price, currency, shipping charge, tax treatment, supported destination, warranty duration, and device-service allowance represented at checkout.
Submitting checkout authorizes the payment provider to process the displayed total. An order becomes paid only after Qannects confirms provider payment truth. A browser success screen, pending bank authorization, or incomplete provider session is not by itself proof of payment.
Qannects may decline or refund an order before hardware allocation when inventory is unavailable, the destination is unsupported, payment or identity evidence is invalid, the price or product information contains a material error, or fulfillment would violate provider, security, policy, or legal requirements.
4. Price, Payment, Taxes, and Donation Separation
Hardware checkout charges the Qannects platform payment account. It must not charge the Workspace's connected Donation account, create a Donation Contribution, reduce donor funds, or affect the Workspace's Donation payout balance.
Checkout shows the item subtotal, shipping, provider-calculated tax where enabled, currency, and total before confirmation. Qannects records the exact provider-settled amount and will not treat an unexplained amount difference as a valid paid order.
The Workspace is responsible for accurate billing and exemption information. Any tax exemption is applied only after Qannects or its provider accepts the required evidence. A Workspace's nonprofit, charitable, or religious status is not assumed merely because it operates a Masjid page or Donation services.
5. Kit Composition, Serial Records, and Workspace Ownership
Each Qannects Donation kit contains exactly one Donation device and one payment Reader, together with any accessories listed in the offering. Serial-tracked components are recorded against the exact order, fulfillment, and Workspace.
The Workspace purchases and owns the delivered physical hardware. Ownership begins at the first recorded custody transfer through confirmed delivery or Qannects-completed installation. Allocation while hardware remains in Qannects custody does not transfer possession or risk of loss to the Workspace.
Physical ownership does not transfer Qannects software, trademarks, payment-provider software, firmware, security credentials, or other intellectual property. Those items remain licensed or controlled by their respective owners under the applicable service and provider terms.
6. Device-Service Allowance and Managed Operation
Owning a device does not create unlimited access to Qannects Donation services. Each station still requires an eligible Workspace, an active payment setup, an available device unit or exact purchased-hardware allowance, approved activation, an assigned mode, an approved Reader, and continued compliance with the Managed Donation Device Terms.
The offering and order record determine the capacity reserved for the purchased station. Baseline units, Workspace-specific overrides, grandfathered devices, and later paid package units remain separate capacity sources and are not silently combined.
A covered replacement inherits the original station's capacity authority and does not consume another paid unit. An additional device purchase requires its own available capacity or the exact allowance represented by that purchase.
Qannects may suspend Donation software or payment access for security, authorization, provider, legal, or policy reasons without changing the Workspace's ownership of purchased physical hardware. Retirement or replacement may still revoke device credentials, Reader binding, and managed-service access.
7. Shipping, Delivery, and Installation
The owner must provide a complete deliverable address and contact number. The Workspace is responsible for delays, loss, or additional cost caused by materially incorrect information it supplied, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Any shipping date is an estimate unless Qannects expressly identifies it as guaranteed. If Qannects cannot ship within the represented time, or within the period required when no time is represented, Qannects will request consent to the delay or cancel and refund the unshipped order as applicable.
Carrier tracking and recorded delivery may be used as delivery evidence. The Workspace should promptly report missing, visibly damaged, incomplete, or incorrect shipments and preserve the packaging and serial labels needed for review.
When Qannects performs installation before ordinary delivery, the installation record may establish custody transfer, ownership, and the warranty start. Installation cannot be completed until the serialized device and Reader have their required system links.
8. Cancellation, Returns, and Refunds
An unpaid open checkout may be cancelled before provider payment completes. Inventory and temporary capacity are released only after provider state confirms that payment will not complete.
For a paid order that has not entered serial allocation or fulfillment, the Workspace owner may request cancellation through Qannects support. An approved cancellation is refunded to the original payment method and releases the associated inventory and capacity after provider refund confirmation.
After serial allocation or shipment begins, the order cannot use the pre-allocation cancellation path. Hardware must not be sent back without Qannects return authorization. Unless the offering or order expressly provides a non-defective return right, a change-of-mind return is not promised after allocation, subject to rights that cannot legally be waived.
Incorrect shipments, shipping damage, and covered defects are handled through support, return authorization, or the limited-warranty process. Provider and financial-institution processing times may delay when an approved refund appears, even after Qannects has submitted it.
9. One-Year Limited Hardware Warranty
Qannects warrants that the new Donation device, payment Reader, and other covered physical components listed in the kit will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use for twelve months.
Coverage starts on the first recorded event of confirmed delivery or Qannects-completed installation and custody transfer. The exact start date, end date, component, serial number, duration, and warranty-terms version are recorded in the Workspace hardware record.
If an offering expressly provides coverage longer than twelve months, the longer recorded duration applies. A replacement normally continues the remaining coverage period of the original component and does not restart a new twelve-month term unless the replacement record expressly says otherwise.
This written limited warranty gives the Workspace specific rights. Other rights may vary by jurisdiction, and these Terms do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited or waived.
10. Covered Remedy and Claim Process
The exact Workspace owner may submit a claim from an available Qannects Workspace or Admin surface. The claim should identify the component, issue, incident timing, and relevant facts, and may require serial verification, diagnostics, photographs, return of the component, or other reasonable evidence.
For an approved claim, Qannects may repair the component, provide a new or functionally equivalent replacement, or refund the affected hardware price when repair or replacement is not reasonably available. The selected remedy must be recorded in the official claim and asset history.
Qannects will provide or reimburse reasonable standard return shipping required solely for an approved covered claim. Expedited shipping, unauthorized repair, installation by another party, or costs unrelated to the covered defect are not included unless Qannects agrees in writing.
A device replacement must retire the replaced device before inherited capacity is reused. A Reader replacement must use the platform-authorized replacement flow. The Workspace must return or securely retire the replaced component as instructed and may not operate both the old and replacement assets under one allowance.
11. Warranty Exclusions
The limited warranty does not cover loss, theft, cosmetic wear that does not impair operation, consumable depletion, accident, impact, liquid, fire, power surge, unsuitable power supply, extreme environment, misuse, neglect, improper storage, or use outside the published operating requirements.
It also does not cover a failure caused by unauthorized software, rooting, removal of Device Owner, tampering, altered or missing serial identifiers, unsupported accessories, unauthorized Reader substitution, or modification or repair that caused or materially contributed to the failure.
Network, electricity, payment-provider, card-network, bank, Workspace account, connected-account, software-service, or third-party availability problems are not hardware defects. A hardware claim may still be covered when evidence shows that a covered physical failure caused the apparent service problem.
Qannects will not deny coverage merely because a third party inspected or serviced the hardware; an exclusion applies only to the extent the unauthorized action or part caused or materially contributed to the claimed failure, subject to applicable law.
12. Loss, Theft, Transfer, and Unsupported Use
The Workspace is responsible for the physical security, power, network placement, and normal care of hardware after custody transfer. Loss or theft should be reported promptly so Qannects can revoke credentials, payment access, Reader binding, and managed authority where possible.
Physical hardware may not be transferred to another Workspace with active Qannects credentials or represented as ready for Qannects Donation service. A transfer of the physical item does not transfer the original Workspace's device unit, grandfathered status, warranty claim authority, payment setup, or service eligibility.
Before sale, disposal, donation, or transfer, the Workspace must complete the authorized retirement and data-removal process. Qannects may require return, secure destruction, or proof of retirement for a replaced or security-sensitive component.
13. Records, Diagnostics, and Privacy
Qannects may retain the offering, order, payment reference, tax, shipping, fulfillment, tracking, serial, ownership, installation, warranty, claim, replacement, refund, capacity, device, Reader, support, security, and audit records needed to perform this agreement and operate the Donation fleet.
Managed diagnostics and temporary support evidence remain governed by the Managed Donation Device Terms and Privacy Policy. Hardware purchase acceptance does not authorize continuous surveillance or collection of unrelated personal content.
Payment credentials are handled by the payment provider. Qannects stores provider references and limited transaction evidence rather than raw card numbers or security codes.
14. Availability, Liability, and Non-Waivable Rights
Hardware and managed Donation services depend on electricity, networking, Android, the payment Reader, payment providers, card networks, banks, signed software, and Workspace configuration. Qannects does not promise uninterrupted Donation or payment availability merely because the Workspace purchased hardware.
To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranty that may be limited is limited to the duration of this written limited warranty. Some jurisdictions do not allow that limitation, so it may not apply to a particular Workspace or transaction.
The liability provisions in the Terms of Service apply to this agreement. Nothing here excludes liability, warranty protection, refund rights, or other remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
15. Updates, Support, and Contact
Qannects may update these Terms prospectively. A material change may require a new owner acceptance before another purchase, but the accepted order snapshot and recorded warranty for existing hardware remain available for review.
Questions about orders, delivery, returns, warranty, loss, replacement, retirement, or hardware records can be sent to support@qannects.com through available Qannects support channels. Include the Workspace and order or asset identifier, but do not send full payment-card information.
